Resources for Special Student Groups

Arp/Troup Shared Service Arrangement is dedicated to providing special education and related services to students who meet eligibility criteria set by the Texas Education Agency. Our Special Services team is proud to offer a wide range of support to ensure that each student receives appropriate services to help them reach their fullest potential. Some of the services provided to students include direct instruction in academic and vocational areas, comprehensive support services, counseling, transportation, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, extended-year services, and any other necessary interventions to support individual goals. Our child-centered staff is committed to making decisions that prioritize the best interests of each student. All instructional and service decisions are guided by the goal of providing a beneficial education within the least restrictive environment suitable for every child. We hold high expectations for all students, aiming to equip them with the skills and knowledge to access the general curriculum and thrive as productive citizens and lifelong learners. Advocating for our special education students is a fundamental responsibility of our staff. We are committed to ensuring that every exceptional learner receives a meaningful and enriching educational experience.

Child Find is a continuous process of public awareness activities, screening, and evaluation designed to locate, identify, and evaluate children who are in need of Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) Programs or Special Education:
