Troup ISD is incredibly proud to announce that Connor Castillo, a senior at Troup High School, has been named a National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist in the Class of 2027!
This prestigious recognition is earned by high school students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, including outstanding performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). Being named a Semifinalist places Connor among a select group of academically talented students from across the nation who will have the opportunity to continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships.
This accomplishment represents years of hard work, dedication, and a commitment to academic excellence. It is also a tremendous honor for Connor's parents and family, as well as for Troup High School and the entire Troup ISD community.
