Troup ISD is aware of Governor Abbott's recent announcement, which ended the mask mandate effective on March 10th. We have not seen any written information regarding these specific changes because they have not been released. Over the next few days, we expect additional guidance from the Texas Education Agency and local health authorities regarding how this will impact our school. There are many unanswered questions regarding quarantining and close contact for exposures. Troup ISD will continue to operate under all current guidelines and release new information once it becomes available.
