Macbook Tech Support

If you are having trouble with your school issued Macbook, try these tips:
 
  • Restart your computer
  • Make sure the battery is charged, and keep it over 20% at all times
  • Make sure the time and date are correct
 
Having trouble with your Chrome browser?  Chrome was recently updated through Filewave.  If your old shortcut isn't working, delete the Chrome icon from the macbook dock, then go to Applications and pick the new icon. 
 
 
How do you get to your Google Classroom and other Office 356 and G Suite apps?
 
  1. Go to https://myapps.microsoft.com
  2. Log in using your credentials username@troupisd.org and your regular password.
  3. Select Troup G-Suite from the apps menu
  4. Skip G-mail and access your Google apps/drive. The Google drive or apps button is in the upper right-hand corner of your page. It looks like a small 3 by 3 square block.
  5. Make sure that you sign out when you have completed your task.
