SCORE: 9-0 FRESHMEN LEAD THE WAY
Troup Lady Tigers were led offensively by Lauren Fite with two doubles and Cheasley Tomlin with two singles. Another double was added by Carolanne Martin. Also adding hits were Valerie York and Jessica Ross. Defensively, Jessica Ross tossed a six inning game allowing only one hit and striking out twelve Lady Mustangs. Alysha Barton made a stand-out unassisted double play by catching a short line drive on the run and throwing the first base for the second out.
