Kent Lindsey is serving the second year of his second term as a Board Member. He currently serves in Place 3. Serving Troup ISD is not new to Kent. He is a returning Board Trustee who also served on the Board from 1993 to 2002.

Kent is a native of Troup, Texas. He graduated from Troup High School in 1981. After graduating from Troup HS, he attended Tyler Jr. College and graduated in 1983.

He has been married to his wife, Lissa, for 22 years. They have three children who attend Troup Schools. Ty, recently graduated, Curt, who is an 11th grader at Troup High School. Kristin is a 8th Grader at Troup Middle School.

Kent is the owner of TCK Consulting, a food service consulting company. He is also employed by CHICAGO GOURMET STEAKS.
