Bill Lacy is now serving in his fourth consecutive year as a TISD Board Trustee. He holds Place 7 on the board and currently holds the office of vice president.

Bill and his wife Aida have been married for thirteen years. They are the proud parents of two children, who presently attend Troup Elementary.

Bill is a lifetime resident of Troup, where he is an active member of the community. He is a member of the Troup PTO, the Tyler Citizens Police Academy, and Junior Achievement. Bill currently serves as the branch manager for the Troup Banking Center, a subsidiary of Kilgore National Bank.

Bill and his family are members of First Baptist Church of Mixon where Bill serves as a Deacon. He also teaches a Sunday school class and is a member of the Building Committee.

After graduating from Troup High School, Bill attended Tyler Junior College, Texas A&M, and Sam Houston State University.
