Johnny Johnson is serving his third year as a TISD Board Trustee. He currently holds Place 6 on the board.

He is a lifetime resident of Troup and is active in the community. He has been married to Melanie for eighteen years. They are the proud parents of two children, who are presently attending TISD.

Johnny and his family attend church at the First United Methodist Church of Troup where Johnny serves as Treasurer.

After graduating from Troup High School, Johnny attended Tyler Junior College and Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Ag Business.
