Welcome to Troup ISD

1 Samuel 17:48 says, "As Goliath moved closer to attack, David quickly ran out to meet him." In Troup ISD we work to engender the spirit of attacking the problems that present themselves day in and day out. Teaching the students to run to meet the giants in their lives is a goal we fully embrace. Welcome to the Troup ISD web site. We trust that you will be able to find everything you are looking for and remember, you are always welcome at Troup ISD.

Go Tigers!

Congratulations to Lauren Reeder! Lauren was one of only ten students selected from Texas to participate in the FFA National Band which was comprised of 86 people representing 33 states and Puerto Rico. She earned the1st Chair Trumpet spot and played a solo. The band performed at the National FFA Convention in Louisville, KY from Oct 25th -Nov 1st. They also played at Churchill Downs (Kentucky Derby) and Louisville Downtown Plaza at 4th Street.

In addition to this honor, Lauren's other accomplishments include All Region Band, Area Band, All State Band, FFA Creed Speaker, FFA Extemporanious Speaker (District Winner), and FFA Farm Business Team. AND if that wasn't enough to keep her busy, Lauren also plays in the East Texas Youth Orchestra (ETYO). We want to wish Lauren good luck on the All Region Band tryouts again this year!
