TISD Child Care Center Mission Statement

The mission of the Troup ISD Child Care Center is to provide a safe, high-quality day care for the teachers and staff at Troup ISD, members of the Troup First Baptist Church and the community of Troup, Texas. We focus our resources to assuring the children in our care are provided with the academic, social and emotional tools they will need to succeed as they enter into the school system. To accomplish this mission, we have aligned our program with the Texas Education Agency’s Pre-Kindergarten Guidelines and the belief that children need to be actively engaged in learning through play, exploration and hands-on experiences as well as on the current theories and principles of child growth and development.
