Board Information:
The Troup Independent School District is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees. Trustees are elected at-large, representing the diverse needs of this 108.61 square-mile district. Trustee elections are held each May. Troup ISD Trustees are elected at-large with the length of a full term being three years.. Board members are volunteers and receive no monetary compensation for their service. Texas board members are obligated to complete an annual training requirement. Board officers are selected annually by the members of the Board.
